The new 2024 conference season is here!
Inspired by last year's experience, we were getting ready for the new era of events. That said, let us tell you which conferences we plan on visiting to do our business.
After a long break, we are ready to dive into a new conference season.
Winter is behind us, and everybody awakes!
The arrival of spring awakens everything, including the many happenings around us. This year, we will attend conferences to network, mingle, talk with students, and share our knowledge - along with rakija ; )
As I said in my previous blog, the events are divided into four groups: Employer branding, internal events, business opportunities, and professional conferences.
Over the years, we have discovered which conferences are suitable for us, set goals, and prepared for the new season.
Where are the talents?
Working in such a dynamic industry, there is always room for improvement and for finding new talents. In order to promote our company and attract the fitting talent, we focused mostly on students with a fresh perspective, so we turned to colleges and universities. That’s why this year, you will find us at the following conferences:
- Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek’s Karijerni korzo - 8th May 2024
- ELPROS - Dani tehničkih zanimanja - May 2024
- DOVIK Ferit - October 2024
These events primarily serve as a chance for students to mingle with the companies of the sector they chose to direct their careers towards, but they are also a great opportunity for us to introduce our team to students and represent our company. During these events, students have a chance to ask everything they want to know about our industry sector and company in a relaxed atmosphere and decide if we are the right fit for them.
During each event, students will get the chance to speak with our HR team, see what jobs we offer, meet some of our employees, and listen to some of our speakers at the event.
At the conclusion of the event, we'll be offering some goodies for you to take home – including T-shirts, notebooks, anti-stress balls, and more. As you know, the Barrage crew loves doing giveaways, so make sure to attend such events! :)

And what about the professional conferences?
We want to stay in touch with all industry trends at professional conferences and learn something new. That's why we are attending .debug, Infobip shift, Digital Labin, Kulen Days, and organizing The Geek Gathering.
These conferences are great for networking, mingling, discussing new business ideas, and at the same time, having fun. Our employees often hold lectures at such conferences. This year, you will have the opportunity to listen to Ivan Kovačić, our software developer and system operations engineer, and Dominik Bjelčević, our backend software developer at .debug.
At Infobip Shift in Zadar and Digital Labin, we tend to network with people, as we learn something new. Networking is an invaluable aspect of any event, presenting opportunities to forge new connections and explore potential partnerships.
As a cherry on top, you can find Kulen Dayz and The Geek Gathering in our lovely Osijek at the end of the conference season. Kulen Dayz and The Geek Gathering offer a diverse range of activities and lectures for attendees. These conferences maintain their focus on topics related to technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship, featuring keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, and networking sessions. Both events create an amazing environment for learning, networking, and celebrating various aspects of the contemporary culture of technology.

Last but not least - business opportunities.
A business opportunity event brings together entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals to explore potential ventures, partnerships, and collaborations. These events are great for creating your own business network, investment opportunities, detection of market trends, and emerging industries.
